Pippa, my firstborn, emerged from an egg long before our place became a sanctuary. He truly is one of my own. Slightly older than Tank, Pippa has witnessed many changes. He embodies the quintessential Guinea fowl demeanor, maintaining order among the hens and acting as their surrogate rooster by intervening in their disputes. Aside from that, he can be quite the mischief-maker, occasionally chasing them without cause. His bond with Tank, his turkey companion, is unmistakable; they spend a great deal of time together. Having always been surrounded by chickens, Pippa grew up alongside the late, revered Turkey Taco. When not vocally expressing his displeasure at various things, he produces the most endearing sounds.
