Moon is a Nubian goat. When she was just a day old, she somehow broke her front leg. Baby goat bones are soft. Initially, we were told she would require surgery, pins, and possibly even amputation. However, a second opinion turned out to be life-changing for Moon. She had a single broken bone in her leg that would heal over time.
  We provided her with the necessary care, attention, and time to recover. Keeping her quiet during the healing process was challenging, especially for a baby goat at bottle-feeding time!
  She has fully recovered now, without any signs of what occurred. She has blossomed into a beautiful "moon spotted" girl, which inspired her name.
