Without any known history, Baby Jane's past is shrouded in mystery. Before we became an official non-profit, we rescued Baby Jane at approximately five months old, she presented with overgrown hooves, severe underweight, and a palpable sense of terror. Her full story may forever remain a mystery, but it likely includes neglect and abuse. Rehabilitating Jane, earning her trust, and even approaching her was a lengthy and gradual process. Initially distrusting of everyone, we hope her new life will bring positive changes. Her hooves have been trimmed, a challenging task, and she is now receiving proper nutrition.
  Unbeknownst to us due to her emaciated condition, Baby Jane was pregnant. In a surprising turn of events, she delivered two healthy offspring on Christmas Day morning. Perhaps it was fate that led her to us. One certainty prevails: Jane will never again experience fear, pain, or hunger. She, along with her kids, Star and Jasper, have settled into their permanent home, where they will remain together. Jane may still exhibit shyness, but she recognizes our presence as a source of love.
