Finn

Finn, a small Nigerian Dwarf goat, arrived from Tennessee when he was just five days old. Born with deformed legs and contracted ligaments affecting both his front and rear limbs, his condition resembled that of a "swimmer pup," though it was not the same, with the front legs being more severely affected. Additionally, he was diagnosed with neurological issues. Unable to stand or walk, young Finn underwent daily physical therapy in a harness, aiming to allow his legs to relax into a more natural position. However, as he grew, his deformities became rigid, leaving little flexibility. Surgery was not a viable option. Despite his immobility, we ensure Finn enjoys life like his fellow disabled companions. He has a custom outdoor bed for socializing, eating hay, and playfully head-butting with friends, and a specialized nighttime bed designed for his comfort and to stay dry overnight.

Finn's birthday is February 28, 2021
