Faye
We were contacted about a little lamb that could not walk located in LA. Her birth was not witnessed so we will never know if her mobility was due to her birthing. She has no coordination in all four legs but particularly in her hind end. Upon arrival here to the Sanctuary we had her x-rayed and a deformity in her pelvic area was diagnosed. She also had a BB pellet in her thigh. Although the BB pellet has nothing to do with her mobility, it's just a sad added element to her young life. Even through all this Faye is full of spunk and gets around somewhat in her wheelchair. It's inevitable, but as she is growing, her weight is defining her mobility issues. has no idea that she's different; she's just living life like the rest of the disabled babies here. She loves the company of her bestie, Penelope, they always share meals together. We were contacted about a young lamb in LA who was unable to walk. While the pellet is unrelated to her mobility, it adds a sad note to her early life. Despite these challenges, Faye is full of life and manages to get around with the aid of a wheelchair.
As she grows, her increasing weight is becoming an increasing challenge in her mobility. Unaware of her differences, Faye lives life joyfully alongside the other disabled young animals at the Sanctuary. She particularly enjoys the companionship of her closest friend, Penelope, with whom she always shares her meals.
