Chester, affectionately named after Winchester, is an adorable mix, possibly of Nigerian Dwarf and Pygmy goat breeds. He was born ​iwith contracted tendons in his hind legs, and despite his rescue mom's ​diligent efforts to correct this through surgery, the ​r​esults were not as successful as hoped. The weeks of recovery that followed did not alleviate the condition. His rescue mom, deeply attached to Chester, came to the difficult realization that she could not provide the level of care he would need long-term. It's never easy to make such a decision or to find the ideal forever home. In her quest, she ​​reached out to Goats of Anarchy, who then reached out to us, confident that Bella View Farm could offer Chester the ​ongoing care and affection he was accustomed to.​ Thus, the journey from Ohio to North Carolina was initiated. Chester is not only ​adorable but also sports a dashing little beard​ and piercing blue eyes. He navigates life cheerfully with the aid of a wheelchair​, yet his preferred place remains snuggled in your lap.
