Brandy

Brandy's story is not one marred by abuse, starvation, or neglect. Rather, she is seen as a 'throwaway,' an animal cast aside as worthless. Facing slaughter, she was put up for sale as a "meat/slaughter" goat on her way to the butcher. Her owners sought to profit from her any way they could, as she held no value to them. At just three years old, she could not breed, leaving her with neither offspring to sell nor milk to produce, thus considered of no worth to her owners.
This was the consequence of a traumatic event that led to the loss of her baby and a prolapsed uterus, resulting in heartbreak, infertility, and incontinence, and ultimately, her being deemed unworthy of life. We may not be able to change her past, but with love and support, we hope to help her move past the traumatic memories and create new joyful ones.
For us, Brandy's life was unquestionably worth saving. The absence of babies or milk, and the need for occasional cleaning due to urine dribbling were all acceptable. Regardless of her handicaps, we would provide her with unconditional love.

There is no know birthday for Brandy so we gave her one.

Brandy's birthday is March 6
