Romeo

Romeo came to us at just 10 days old. His previous humans knew that his condition would need more than what they could give him. Little Romeo was born with a severe spinal deformity, leaving him unable to walk or stand. Spinal fusion past his rib cage left him unable to use his back legs. Further diagnosis was done and he has a type of neurological disease known as swayback/kyphosis. There is no cure for this, just lifelong care. Even though he cannot walk, and shows signs of neurological issues, this little boy loves life. He just adores laying outside with his other "special" brothers and sisters. He knows how to eat hay on his own, and we're working on learning to drink from a bowl. Romeo has also been diagnosed with a hernia, therefore he will need surgery to be neutered.
