Olivia

Meet Olivia! Livy for short. Olivia came to us from Vermont via PilotsnPaws. Two different pilots split the trip. Little Olivia has severely deformed legs. All four limbs just were not made right. Goats have cloven hooves 2 parts of the hoof (similar to deer/cows) All of her hooves come to a point like a cat claw and she only has one on each leg. Her front legs are curved towards each other, and her back legs are contracted with bones in odd shapes. She has a twitch which makes bottle feeding a challenge. The only somewhat of a diagnosis was from a video her previous owner sent to a vet, and he diagnosed her with "crooked cattle syndrome". She was seen briefly at UGA, when we brought Georgie in and they confirmed what I already knew...that there is nothing that can be done to fix her. That's ok, it doesn't mean we love her any less. She is beautiful on our eye
Even though she may need constant care, she is alert and recognizes you, and she's growing. We don't know what the future holds for Olivia, but we didn't know that either with Thor - and that was 3 years ago.
