This little guy is a Nigerian Dwarf breed. He was one of three babies, and came to us at only 4 weeks old. He was born with turned out front ankles. He was treated with supplements in hopes they would straighten out, but they did not. His front legs had been splinted twice to try to correct his feet. Unfortunately, the splinting resulted in his circulation being cut off to the bottom of his hooves, leading his little ankles to become necrotic. They will eventually fall off.

He was also confirmed to have "joint ill". A bacterial infection that enters the bloodstream through the umbilical cord of newborn kids. He is still currently on antibiotics to fight off the infection. We know that he will most likely lose his feet, and hopefully we can fit him with some prosthesis on his little nubs for better mobility for him.
