Meet Georgie! Georgie's birth was difficult for his mom and she needed assistance. When he finally arrived into this world , his human realized that something was wrong with his front legs and he couldn't stand. She assisted him in nursing, but he wouldn't latch. It was cold,  so they brought him and milked the mom so that he could could receive the antibodies in her colostrum. He lived inside in a little laundry basket for a few weeks. They tried splinting with minimal improvement. When they realized he would need more care than what they could offer him, they reached out to us. They made the journey with Georgie from Texas to Atlanta where Greg met them and brought this little bundle of joy home.

We continued to splint his little legs, but there was no change. The next step is surgery to correct his legs and get them in the correct postion.
